    Im using a Ryzen 7 5950x, this cpu supports every game you can lmagine.I have this problem where my CPU goes to a 100% and the computer shuts down. Thing is, it does it only with certain games. Example with RB6 Siege it does it when i launch the game.With apex it does it when a game ends and the menu loads.Doesnt do it with other games like warzone, rust, etc.I already tried to uninstall the problematics gsmes, look for corrupted files. Everything is up to date, the drivers are good.Before reinstalling a clean version of windows or opening the pc up, do you guys have any fix i could try. It’s

    Hello, lately my pc when I open a certain game shuts down out of nowhere, when I play cs go nothing happens, but with other games it shuts down all of a sudden, I put paste on the processor, thinking it was the cpu temperature but it's still the same

    Thanks for your answer @Jay#222. I understand that a computer is doing a lot in the background. In that case above, I was using Adobe Lightroom which is heavy on the CPU but I might get this when I'm just using Google Chrome googling things. Its weird to
    me because upon opening the Task Manager, my CPU calms down when it might have been working hard for quite some time. My CPU might be working hard for 10 minutes and then upon opening Task Manager, it calms down. I'm sure if it listed the CPU usage prior to
    opening the Task Manager, it would be 90%-100% usage all prior. Is it something like the Task Manager flushes processes and that's why it drop significantly? And I mean it drops to the point where the fan will calm down and my laptop will not lag much.

    Random shut down and restart??

    Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
    2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

    Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused Computer shut downs when opening certain game only. Cpu goes to 100% :confused:*Mad Computer shut downs when opening certain game only. Cpu goes to 100% :mad:

    One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

    Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
