  1. Computer Shutting Off - Suspected Overheating

So I recently updated Windows 10 to the latest update, my Intel graphics card, as well as my NVIDIA graphics card the latter was 22 months out of date.

I now seem to have problems with the system shutting down suddenly. I am unsure of the reason - I suspect it may be overheating, but it doesn't feel hotter than it normally does.

I have tried searching the web for the potential issue, which most of the problems appear to be due to a Bitcoin miner, but several anti-virus searches as well as looking through task manager shows no abnormalities.

Another thing is a possible collection of dust in the system preventing the cooling system from working. I am reluctant to try this as I don't know the inside of my laptop well and have not opened it in the 6 years of owning it. Also, the laptop is moved very irregularly, and I doubt that that would be the problem by co-incidence.

Apologises if this is posted on the incorrect site.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

    :)

    Slow Computer

    Hi Sheree,

One of the most common reasons for a slow computer are programs running in the background. Other factors that can contribute to the issue are memory space, malware infection, outdated software, and processor overheating. To improve your computer's performance,
you can check the tips listed on this link. We suggest that you also try to follow the suggested steps.

Feel free to post back if you have further questions.
