Windows 10: Computer, Sites and Software Crashes specifically when watching youtube or playing games....

Lately, I have been having crashes when I do the stuff above, I suspect it has something to do with memory as I have a bad habit of leaving a lot tabs on and it first started crashing when I was watching youtube.I have tried following steps from another forum:Tried running System File CheckerTried reinstalling Graphics DriverTried scanning HD, though I got this error message:C:\Windows\System32>chkdsk The type of the file system is NTFS. BSOD crashes when playing games/watching Youtube fullscreen

Hi David,

You have mentioned that you are getting multiple blue screen errors when playing a game or when watching a video online in full screen. May we know if you are overclocking your device? If you are, we suggest that you disable the overclocking for your device.

On a lighter note, it could be that the drivers for your device is outdated. We suggest that you check if there are updates waiting to be installed for your device. If there are, kindly install them and restart your device. After restarting your device,
see if the blue screen errors still appears when you play games or watch videos online.

Load this checklist video in Edge: (I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier) Go through the list of suggestions here to try to repair YouTube for Chrome...

 

My computer consistently crashes when playing newer Steam games

  Did you make any software changes to the computer prior to this issue?

  Is your computer custom built?
