Windows 10: Computer slowe down and stuttering hard after latest Windows 10 update (Lenovo Legion Y540)

Hey guys! So after updating my laptop 3 days ago my pc slowed down considerably. Even when just browsing the OS, I noticed that various tasks take longer than they normally would (opening files for example). But it's really noticable when I'm playing games. Games that used to run with stable 60 fps turned into a stutter-fest (like Battlefront 2, DayZ etc.). Sometimes it looks like the textures don't get loaded in correctly or just generally take a long time to load in (Seeing low poly textures even though I'm close to object). I did all things I generally do when things don't work. This includes updating the gpu driver, making lenovo look through my drivers with lenovo service bridge (no new drivers though), defragmenting hdd, optimizing ssd and hdd, running windows memory checker and running lenovo vantage hardware diagnostics. Nothing resolved the issue. I ran the hardware diagnostic tool because I was thinking that maybe my ram or hdd is on it's way out. But all test came back negative. Everything work is working fine apparently. But I can't play games because they're borderline unplayable. Now this happened before, back in February. Same thing after a windows update. But that time it eventually got back to normal after a couple of days. But I'm curious now if any of you have the same issue as me, because it's not likely that microsoft releases broken updates 2 times in a row.

Stuttering in games after the latest windows update

Hello. I updated my notebook Lenovo Legion Y520 for the latest windows update December 19, 2018—KB4483234 (OS Build 17134.472) and after that CSGO is very slow and stutters a lot and has low fps. I used a restore point and it helped, everything ran smoothly,
but it updated itself anyway after I hibernated it so I am again here with stuttering. I don´t have latest Nvidia drivers though, because they caused low fps too (currently on 417.01, the faulty one I think is 417.35). Do you guys have the same problem? Or
do you know how to fix it ideally without using a restore point again?

No suggestions but want to say nice laptop. They also seem to be popular being they're currently unavailable

That said my only suggestion would be to take time to learn the laptop yourself.
