    Computer sometime crashes on scroll


    HiDoes anyone have any insight into this issue? ...My PC a well-spec'd Windows 10 Pro machine will, occasionally, totally and suddenly wipe-out and reboot when scrolling with the mouse wheel.The event is so sudden that no error log is generated. It happens about once a week. It is seemingly random, but one software I have is guaranteed to cause the crash: that software is an audio wave file editor called 'Goldwave'. Goldwave will always cause the crash when a wave file graph window is scrolled with the mouse. The makers of Goldwave say there is nothing in their software that could cause thi

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    scrolling bad

    New event. When placing cursor over a list or row of columns, even the volume bar scrolling is automatic and proceeds to one end of the series and stops. The scrolling also stops when I move the cursor away from the list but am unable to select anything in the list. Not all the possible lists are effected. Other sites have recommended mouse/kb fixes. Have tried all those but the phenomena persists. Have not had any known updates recently and don't have a restore point to try. Any other suggestions? W10Pro 1903
