Windows 10: Computer Spazzes by Pulling up the Settings Screen

Hi guys!


Sooooo I have an HP laptop that is running Windows 10 and I have been having this spazzing issue for months now despite getting it looked at several times.

When I am on the computer it will randomly pull up the settings screen and close it like it is clicking on it and closing it without me doing anything. It does this and the only way for me to get it to stop is by powering down the computer with the power button and turning the computer back on again.


My initial research told me it was a driver issue but it is not trust me I had that part looked at. It still kept doing it and so I thought maybe it was a software issue. The guy I took it to cleaned it and had reinstalled Windows and Lennux on it to see if that would clear it up, but here I am a few weeks after getting it checked out and it started happening again.


I do know that my computer has an older processing system from what I have been told and I don't know if that information helps, but I need some solid answers on this because I am a student and need my computer for classes.

Any information at this point is helpful.

Touchpad Mouse Spazzing Out

Yesterday i spilled water on my computer. I qucikly tried to dry it with a towel and turned it upside down. I could see water dripping from my touchpad mouse. A few hours later i turned on my computer, i could hear crackling noises on my keyboard, the
mouse was spazzing out and my caps lock key’s light was going on and off, the screen was also black. It didn’t open. I turned off my computer and again, put it upside down. I also took out the batteries just in case. Today i tried opening again and it was
working fine except the mouse. The mouse was still spazzing out. I tried a wireless mouse to prevent the problem but the sapzzing affected the wireless mouse aswell. I turned off the touchpad mouse but, i would like it if i could make the touchpad mouse work
again, without spazzing out.

• Click OK.

• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you start your PC in a clean boot state so we can isolate if it's caused by
