Windows 10: Computer started suddenly running games slow or they just downright crash

Hello everyone I'm here because my computer out of the blue just started crashing and running games really slow so naturally when I saw this I did a clean boot of my computer and deleted all the partitions and booted up a new clean version of windows just for the same thing to be happening to me again when I started up Valorant my game would crash and say graphics drivers crashed so then I thought oh it may just be Valorant so then I went to steam and downloaded the Witcher 3 and it ran really slow like 20fps max and would crash after literally 10 seconds so then I thought ok its the drivers s

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

OK have done the above. Hardware seems fine, no?

PS I have set Performance Manager running. It said it is "Collecting data for 60 seconds..." however my computer is running SO slowly that after what is now 15 minutes (and counting) it has not spat out any results (!).

Deleted my previous post data from two hours ago. There is a much easier method:

1. Download the Download - Auto-installer for USB Key (Win 9x/2k/xp/7) to your Desktop. Right click on it and select Extract all.




2. That will place Memtest86+ USB Installer.exe on your Desktop.

3. Insert a 512 MB or larger flash drive into your computer.

4. Run Memtest86+ USB Installer.exe by double clicking on it or right clicking and selecting Open.




Select your Flash drive from the drop down list.




Check We will format ... as FAT32 then click Create.




Flash drive will be created. Only takes a few seconds.




Click Finish.




That's it. Test the flash drive to make sure it boots okay and your're ready to run memtest86+ when ever you have time.
