Windows 10: Computer Stuck at 100% Disk Repair

Hello! I just attempted to wake up my computer to check the time for my final tomorrow, and it started to scan and repair some drives on my computer. It took a while to work through a SD card I have attached for some light backups, but it’s been stuck at 100% for repairing my C: Drive for the last couple hours. Has anyone had this problem or know how to proceed?

Computer stuck (100% disk usage) after exactly one hour of work

What I meant was that I know exactly on what minute the computer hard disk will go to 100% usage and then the computer will get stuck. So I looked at the Task Scheduler to see if there's any tasks that are scheduled for that minute or a little before it and I saw none.

When it happens, Task Manager shows disk usage of 100% but no process is taking more than ~0.5% of usage.

I tried to chkdsk.exe and it made me restart my PC. so I did, but then chkdsk was stuck on 28% for a long time and then reboot.

We suggest you to repair your system using Windows 10 installation USB media and check if it corrects the problem.

Follow these steps:

• Disconnect all non-essential devices that might attached to your computer, Windows setup might be trying to detect them.
• If you connected to a network, disconnect this also.
• Download the Windows 10 ISO on a working computer and perform a startup repair:
• Click here to download the official ISO media for Windows 10.
  

After creating the USB installation media for Windows 10, follow the steps below:

      Insert the installation USB drive and boot Windows 10 from it.
