    Computer stuck on black screen and cursor after power up..


    I have an old Dell PC I got from my sister and was trying to fix it. When I power it up the screen stay blank only showing the mouse. I have tried win + ctrl + shift +B, ctrl + alt + del. I have tried using 2 seperate installation drivers for troubleshooting settings. I have attempted to roll back windows updates. I have tried repairing the disk through command prompt. I have also tried booting onto safe mode. Despite this nothing had changed.Any ideas?

    Getting black screen, no cursor, and no power to USB ports

    I have a desktop computer with Win10 on it, and it's not starting up. Just goes right into a black screen, with no cursor, and doesn't seem to be any power to any of the USB ports. I took the side off the computer and I can see a green light lit up on the motherboard, but that's about it. Anyone have any suggestions? Does this mean the motherboard is bad? Thanks

    Getting black screen, no cursor, and no power to USB ports

    try removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes and then put it back in.
