    Computer stucked at spinning wheels after "prepare for automatic repair"


    Hello, my computer has been stuck at the spinning wheels phase for a while now.A little context on how it got there: As my pc is a bit hold, it tend to freeze at the login screen when on sleep mode, after that i forced restart the PC in order to refresh it, only this time it did not work and went on repair mode, after some time waiting on the loading screen, i forced restart it again, and now when i turn it on, it goes to automatic repair, but followed by what i can describe only as a split screen of flattened spinning wheels my screen doesn't have any display issue.I tried to reboot the

    Laptop stuck on Preparing Automatic Repair

    sometime yesterday I tried to boot my windows 10 laptop and it got stuck on the login screen, before I pressed anything to go to the password screen. I tried moving the mouse around to no result. I figured it was frozen so i held down the power button until the laptop turned off. when I turned it back on with the power button, I saw a brief message in the top left displaying that my OS hadn't shut down properly, followed by numbers i couldnt make out. afterwards, it got stuck on that spinning wheel screen for 15+ minutes.
    with no result, I restarted it again and then the Preparing Automatic Repair screen came up. eventually this went away but I was looped back to the spinning wheel screen for another fifteen minutes.
    can anyone help or explain? thanks in advance, my first postComputer stucked at spinning wheels after "prepare for automatic repair" :)

    Spontaneous "preparing automatic repair'"

    My PC was left in the sleep mode for two days. Upon return from a trip, I noted the Window icon and spinning wheel on the screen. Shortly thereafter, the Window icon appeared and the words "Preparing Automatic Repair" appeared with the spinning wheel.
    It has been doing this for nearly 6 hours. I attempted on one occasion to depress the powers button to re-boot and it re-booted before returning to the identical previous mode. It has been in that mode for another 4 hours. Any suggestions?

    Preparing Automatic Repair

    My son's Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL has been stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for over a week now. I can't followed any steps listed for remedying it because the computer doesn't respond to any instructions, like holding F8 or even booting from a USB, at all. Has anyone ideas or it's time to discard this 5-year old laptop?
