    Computer stuttering problem. Help!


    Hi, I built my desktop back in march 2020. Since then I have a stutter that last 1 second each hour or so. It will freeze my computer from the sound to the mouse for a second or so. It is really annoying.


    Any idea what I could do?


    Here are my specs :


    AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core Processor - 4,38 Ghz
    16.0GB RAM

    Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

    ASUS Prime X470-Pro

    Computer stuttering then freezing

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply and update.

    Suggest you to let us know the details of that update after which you started experiencing these issues.

    Follow these steps to open the “view update history” screen:


    • Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.

    • Click on Windows Update.

    You will find “view update history” option in the left panel.

    Further if you notice a similar trend in performance issues over different computers then you may also leave a feedback using the Feedback app.

    Computer stuttering problem. Help!

    Need some advice on computer problems.

    Run HDtune (free version) on you hard drive. but most likely that the problem. You can also test your memory with Memtest86 as suggested above
