    Computer suddenly/randomly starts denying that any and all internet connections have ever...


    For some reason my computer just won't acknowledge the existence of any internet connections. The internet bar icon-thing in the bottom right turned into the icon of the monitor with an "x" and a plug next to it.

    I've tried the trouble shooter and it says that an Ethernet cable or something is broken/not connected but I don't think that's the problem here.

    Internet discovery is on, I wasn't but I've turned it on since and it still doesn't work.

    Why must everything I own need to break? I've only had this computer for barely 2 days.

    internet connection problem- help

    my internet connection suddenly failed about 2 days ago. we had to power cycyle the the router and modem. the other computers on the same router network were able to connect. my computer upstairs still had the same problem. i am using my laptop now with the same eathernet connection my computer that doesnt get a connection with and the internet works fine on the laptop. it just randomly stoped working and idk what to do now. the cable is fine because i am able to use the laptop on it and the laptop doesnt get wireless so i know its not the cable. my computer is in the system specs. ive tried setting defualts in bios and that doesnt work either. ive turned my firewall off and that doesnt help either. any suggestions?

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

    Suddenly cant connect to the internet

    Hi guys need help here, been cracking my brain for 6 hrs now

    Suddenly my main pc cant connect to the internet, this is suprising coz i just used it 30 mins before.

    1. its not my provider coz other PCs in my house can connect even using same ethernet jack.

    2. i have tried reinstalling windows on the c partition . still wont connect.

    3. i have tried reinstalling fron my Acronis backup . still wont connect.

    What the hell can it be??*Cry :cry:

    once it somehow communicated with the internet and saif "error 400 wrong request" on firefox and if i tried with IE it would show a page with some funny coded programming language.


    Any ideas guys?
