Windows 10: Computer turning background colour after login

Since last night my PC after I log in shows my background image and then switches to my background colour which is purple, I cant click anything but I can open task manager, it shows that most programs have crashed, and to make sure it wasnt my graphics card, I plugged out my monitors and plugged one into my motherboard and it did the same thing, I really dont know what to do, I dont have the money to upgrade my GPU, if anyone has had this problem, please help.

Background colour synchronisation

I am caught in a vicious circle:

In order to test a colour reduction algorithm I switched my desktop background from black to red. Then I turned on a second computer and found that the setting had been synchronised. Since this colour is not too eye friendly, I immediately switched back
to black, then a few minutes later did the same on the first computer.

What happened was, that on the second computer the background became red again, and a when I switched to black there, the first computer became red and so on.

Now I have just turned on a third computer, logged in, and guess what... the background is red...

How can I break out of this?

 

Login Screen Background keeps defaulting to stock image

I've set a custom image on my lock screen to show up on the initial login screen whenever I first start up my computer. But occasionally, the login screen defaults to a stock landscape image that comes with Windows 10.

To clarify, here are the steps I've taken:

• Go into Settings -> Personalization -> Lock Screen
• EDIT: Set image to Picture
• Click Browse... to look for and select a picture
• Turn on Show lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen.

However, no matter how many times I retake these steps, the default login screen background occasionally
comes back. How do I stop this from happening?

UPDATE: I forgot to mention a step here in my initial post. I have already set the background to
Picture, thus the custom image.

 

No login box when I turn my computer on

My computer turns on but i do not get a login box. I dont get any prompt. Its just the photo background i see and the time and date Does anyone have any suggestions
