Windows 10: computer turns into a black screen and the fans start speeding up and get very loud

So as the title says my computer gets very loud and the screen turns off, the pc is still on but it is not interactable and nothing is displayed on the screen and to overcome this crash I had to either hold my pc's off button or turn the wall plug that the power supply's plug of the pc was connected to off . I had this issue once when i was playing a game on 13th December, after 3 days I had this issue multiple times throughout the day during 16th of December, however during then i was not playing any games. In-fact I just turned my pc on and logged on and after 15 mins of just staying on the

Unresponsive Laptop with black screen and loud fans

Unresponsive laptop with black screen, loud fan noise. I turned my laptop to update and shutdown after some time when i comeback i see a black screen and fans working really loudly.I decided to check if it was oveheated. I checked and it was not! I tried to restart and it wasnt responding to me at all. It bas been 4hours into the night and it is still being loud with its fans. Please help immediately.

thinking it jsut needs a new fan, checked bios doesnt seem to be anything in there about fan speed/temperatures/power management

looking for any possible suggestions before i order a new fan for the thing.

 

Fan speed too high and receives black screen

Once done with that, let’s check the cause for the fan speed.

a. While on the desktop, right-click on the taskbar, click on
Task Manager.

b. Click on the Processes tab and check if any processes that is running high.

If none of the process is running high then I suggest you to update the graphics card driver and check if it resolves the issue.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device
Manager”.

2. In the list of devices, you should see the Display Drivers.

3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".

4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.

5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
