    Hey there,

I woke up this morning and turned on my computer. As it was turning on I heard beeps coming from it upon loading, and then when presented with the login screen, it was asking me for the password to the email account linked with the computer. However, this is not the password that I have set for the computer (I set myself a PIN). Then when logging in, I was presented with the home screen with no icons and the taskbar infinitely loading. The thing is my keyboard only allows me to do CTRL + ALT + DEL, and nothing else, alongside the fact that no applications nor the start menu button can be opened. When clicking on the home screen, I get a message saying that Windows Program is not responding.

Any way of fixing this would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    :)

  2. Computer turns on, shows desktop and then goes back to the lock screen

I got windows 10 a while back and it was working fine. However, I have recently installed some updates. Since then, when I turn on my computer, it shows the Dell logo, then the lock screen with the default beach cave background and then my desktop, without
asking me for a password. Then, about 30 seconds later, the screen goes black for about 15-20 seconds and then it goes back to the lock screen. This time it shows a personalised background and asks for my password. This happens every time I turn on my laptop.
    What's going on?

    PC Bloked for wrong password.

Step1: The PC has already been disconnected from the Internet.

Setps 2-3: I did not understand
why use the keyboard on the screen,
however, now I have tried in this way.
Before giving Enter, I also check
that the password has been entered correctly.

The user does not know other passwords
and he says he has always used this.

Computer turns on asks for wrong password and then goes to home screen where taskbar is...

Windows 10 asks for a password reset upon every login attempt to the machine, there is no password set. (local PC user account)

    Hi,

To help you disable the prompt when you sign in to the computer, please answer these questions:

    • Before installing Windows 10, was the computer part of a workgroup?
    • Are you using the same user profile from the previous Windows installation?
    • Have you tried setting a different password? Does it also ask you to change it when the computer restarts?
Try the steps below to resolve the issue:

    • Right-click on the Windows icon on your home screen.
    • Select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Click OK if you get a prompt window.
    • Type wmic UserAccount set PasswordExpires=False then press
      Enter
      .
Restart the computer after performing the steps and check if it will still ask you to change your password.

Let us know how it goes.
