Windows 10: computer update should not generate pop up ads

Discus and support computer update should not generate pop up ads in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; why does my computer's microsoft update lead me to spam-pop-up-ads for cloud storage, ms365 and anything else... at all? if I didn't want ANY of these...     computer update should not generate pop up ads


    why does my computer's microsoft update lead me to spam-pop-up-ads for cloud storage, ms365 and anything else... at all? if I didn't want ANY of these features the day I turned my computer on, why does it keep asking me? does microsoft think I don't know what I want? sort of... rude, if you ask me. now, as for how to turn it off... permanently? ***Post moved by the moderator to the appropriate forum category.***

    'Generic PnP monitor' issue

    Hello Angelica,

    I would suggest you follow steps to update the monitor driver:

    Press Windows + X keys

    Choose Device manager

    Click on Monitors

    Right click on ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and click on update driver

    Tap on Browse my computer for driver software

    Tap on Let me pick from a list of available drivers

    Choose ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and tap on Next

    When you are done please restart the computer.

    unwanted pop up ads.

    Depends on what is popping up the ads, what they look like, etc.



    Turn off notifications / suggestions thru settings for Windows 10 in general.



    Get a ad-blocker installed for the web browser of your choice.



    Scan your system with MalwareBytes (free) and SuperAntiSpyware (free) and remove everything they find.

    We request that you file this or up-vote an existing feature suggestion using the Windows Feedback Hub app. To submit a new feedback/suggestion, you can follow the steps provided below:

    • Go to All Apps, search for the Feedback Hub app or press and hold Volume
      Down+Power button for about 2-3 secs to launch the Feedback Hub app.
    • Open the menu icon at the top left side.
    • Select Feedback, then at the top right side, tap the add button (+).
    • Select Suggestion and fill up the box with the details needed.
    • Select the right category for the suggestion and then submit.
