Windows 10: Computer updated, now all my apps/files are missing. HELP!

Hi please help! After pressing the "Update and shutdown" process a few days ago, I come back to my computer and realize that everything I have had is gone. All my files are missing and showing up empty, and nearly all my apps/games are gone as well. Custom background was gone and just had this screen with a semi blank screen As shown below. When I try and go through my settings trying to restore what I have I just get no results and no I'm stuck and panicking because I really need my computer files back. Please if anyone can help I would truly appreciate it!

How to change default app for file type

@Bree - yes, I'm quite aware of this thanks, but as you will see it's missing. I recall reading that clicking the dialogue at a certain point in blank space made it appear, and trying that once successfully, but doesn't seem to help now. Plenty of other similar reports of this option being missing.

EMUI

Here's the steps to update EMUI 4.1.1 to 5.0 :

• Download the EMUI 5.0(desired version) .zip file, and unzip it.
• Place the .hwt file in the HWThemes folder from your phone.
• Using the Themes app, apply the new theme.
• Restart the phone, in order to see all the new changes.

And you’re done!

 

Missing apps: Store, People, Photos, Games & Camera on upgrading to 10

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?
