Windows 10: Computer way slower and wallpaper and some desktop icons not loading.

I hope this is the right topic.So a few days ago I put my PC to sleep, something I normally do when I'm going to be away, but not for too long. I get back home and nap for a few hours, get up and turn my PC on.I am greeted with discord and a blue loading circle for my mouse, I can click anything. I wait for a few minutes before making, probably the worst choice, and hold down the power button for a few moments. PC goes off I wait a few and then turn it back on.Login and I'm greeted with a wallpaper less background and the default paper icon for all my desktop apps, they slowly load the real ic

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

Is there a way to remove the trash, computer, and home icons on the desktop in Fedora 13? I like a clean desktop and I don't use those icons.

 

Desktop wallpaper for new users

Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.
