Windows 10: Computer will not reboot.

My windows computer is fully unfunctional. I can't use the task bar nor is anything showing up in the task bar. The settings will not open either. I have tried opening them with everything I could find. Settings will not open. The only thing that opens and works is powershell and file explorer. I have tried sfc scans and everything in powershell but nothing. I even went to reset the pc and full clean the drive and it will not work. Also, on top of everything since I can't access the task bar the computer will not connect to internet. I use this computer for work and I don't know what to do. I

However, please let us know:

1. When exactly are you receiving the error?
   
2. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
3. Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
   
4. Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
   

If you are receiving a Blue Screen error, I would suggest you to share the dump files so that we can analyze them and get to the root cause of the issue. To share the files Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump, upload the files to OneDrive and share the OneDrive link.



Meanwhile, I would suggest you to remove any external devices attached to the computer apart from keyboard and mouse and check if that helps.

Windows 10 endless loop reboot

• Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
• What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

No more touchpad for my laptop since upgrading to Windows 10

Hi Derek,

I would suggest the following steps :

• Press Windows + X
• Click on Device Manager
• Right click on TouchPad drivers in the list.
• Choose Upgrade Drivers
• Reboot computer

Check if this helped to fix the issue.
