Windows 10: Computer will not "restart" when "restart" is clicked

This is a BRAND NEW INSTALL of Windows 11 on a brand new SSD. I have already tried to do a clean install and this problem even happens when the install tries to restart itself, I end up having to hold down the button every time it restarts to get Windows installed. Windows runs fine and everything works like it should except for when I try to do a restart. When I click "restart" it starts the restart process then the screen goes black and hangs, it never restarts the computer and it just continually hangs. I end up having to restart the computer by holding the power button down and manually tu

Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

Click the Advanced tab.

Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.

Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.

Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

 

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.
