Windows 10: Computer will not run any programs/games/apps

I installed the feature update 21H2 to Windows 10 and the quality update tonight. After restarting my PC to complete the installation, I opened a Steam game and realized that my keyboard was not recognized and could not type. This has happened before, and I fixed it by restarting my PC, which I did. After this second restart, my PC will not open any program. My PC will run Steam, Chrome, and the Office apps, but it will not run any programs likes games or CAD software. Is there a way to repair Windows and go back to the previous version or is there another issue I created that I am unaware of

I would suggest you to refer the below link and check the compatibility of the game with Windows 10.

You may also try installing the game in compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to install the game software in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

        Right-click on the game setup file and click on
        ‘properties’.

        Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
        ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
        

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to get in touch with the game manufacturer if it’s specific to that particular game.

Problems with running games

I suggest you to try installing games in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

  Click on the ‘Compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once
  this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
