    Computer will not shut down, stuck in "shutting down" loading screen


    I've had this problem for 3 days now, and I'm frustrated beyond belief. Whenever I go to shut down my computer, I'm always stuck in "shutting down" or "restarting" with the circle loading animation playing below it. I'd leave it on throughout the whole day, and the computer would just never turn off, forcing me to hold the power button every time.

    I need some solutions, because I've already tried a lot of things

    Windows 10 upgrade stuck on shutdown screen

    after choosing "update and shut down" the latest update got stuck with the green screen saying "shutting down" so problem isn't fixed. After an hour I removed the battery and forced a shutdown.

    Windows 10 upgrade stuck on shutdown screen

    I have shut off the computer after it had been stuck in "shutting down" mode by holding the power button for 10 seconds, left it for a considerable period of time, turned it on only to find that it had resumed its "shutting down" mode. Computer is unusable.
    Suggestions?
