    Computer Wont boot after power outage.


    This is an odd one.

    So far I have tried using the following:

    • built in system repair options for startup repair.
    • sfc/scannow (found integrity issues and repaired them)
    • dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth (It said it found no errors)
    • dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (Said that it found and repaired some errors

    The strange part? It boots fine into safe mode and then as long as i select shutdown, then turn it back on it will boot just fine into full windows.

    However, if I am in safe mode or in full windows, and press restart it then will not boot any longer.

    I am on this pc now and have access to both full windows, the internet (while in full windows), and safe mode

    power outage-Windows 10 will not finish booting

    Help !!! Had a power outage this morning and now I cannot get windows 10 to complete boot up

    It starts the booting process and then my screen goes blank. I cannot even get to the prompt screen? To run any. diagnostics. any suggestions ?ANY HELP WOULD BE SO APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!

    Computer not booting after power outage

    Sleep mode is the devil. I once had my PC power off during sleep (maybe a storm) and it refused to boot. Even after many cmos clears it still would not boot. I took everything out one by one and until I took out the ram and re installed them it finally posted. I swore never to use sleep again. Hibernate is alittle better cause it can handle a complete power outage.

    Computer Causing Power Outage?

    The bathroom shouldn't be on the same circuit as your bedroom and office. It should using GFCI/RCD on a different breaker all together. If you are not I suggest you get an electrician out there to fix that ASAP. If its true the entire second floor is on one circuit I suggest you move or have it rewired. That's not only poor building but dangerous.

    But I don't expect you to listen to me.

    If you are going to be living where you are right now I suggest you have a dedicated line ran to your computers outlet.
