Windows 10: Computer won’t connect to the internet or let me access settings.

Yesterday the wifi icon on the task bar completely disappeared and my laptop wouldn’t connect to the internet. It seemed like basically the whole network system disappeared all together. I tried to do a troubleshoot but found that my computer wouldn’t let me open any of my settings. It only allows me to open my control panel and nothing else. Things I have been able to troubleshoot through the control panel and command prompt just ends with it telling me it cant fix anything due to corrupt files. I cant use any past restores either because their are no restores. I can’t remember if their were any in the first place or if those were deleted as well. This all happened after connecting to the wifi at my college. I’m stuck because I cant access my setting or go on the internet which are both pretty important. Any suggestions?

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
   
   
   

 

iPhone won,t connect win 10 Pro

 

One computer cannot access other network computers.


So I've tried every troubleshooting step I know:

• Double checked that Net Bios was enabled
• Ran a bunch of network commands:
  • flushed DNS
  • registered dns
  • pinged and located the named computers successfully
• Reset my router to factory settings

Nothing works when I try to access via explorer. I'm still baffled by the fact that every other computer can access each other AND access this computer. It's just the outgoing connection from this machine that doesn't work.

Any thoughts?
