    Computer won't freezers unless connected to the internet


    At the beginning of the year we lost internet when I tried turning on my computer It froze everytime. Until I tried using my phone as a hotspot. It worked fine, What could be causing the computer to only work while connected to the internet.I downloaded a thing off the internet that helps keep my drivers updated but to my knowledge I deleted all the files related to it, I have since updated my drivers using NVIDIA. But I am unsure if the problem started then or before and the computer has always been connected to the internet. My knowledge of computers is limited, but i would like to

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

      Computer won't freezers unless connected to the internet [​IMG]
    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
