Windows 10: Computer won’t install Windows Update

My computer says it has a windows update, so I press install and it restarts my computer. Right after it installs the entire thing, it uninstalls it. It’s been doing this for 4 months now and I’m finally tired of it, what do I do?It takes about an hour to update, and another 30 minutes to uninstall it. It says something along the lines of “Reverting to original state” after the update. I only found one post online that sounded similar to my problem, but they said to shut off the computer when it’s trying to uninstall. To me that sounds like a bad idea and might corrupt something, so now I’m st

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
