    Computer wont stop making disconnecting sounds and crashing games


    I've been having this issue for a while. My computer often makes disconnecting sounds and crashes games and it's getting really annoying. Usually happens when I reset my computer and it goes mostly away after a week but if I reset my computer the issue starts up again. Can anybody help? Thanks

    If the connect/disconnect sounds is only happening when playing an specific game, It might be a game app or a driver issue. we suggest that you try to uninstall and reinstall the game and check if the problem persists. Check the steps provided below:

    • Open the Start menu.
    • Click Settings.
    • Click System on the Settings menu.
    • Select Apps & features from the left pane. ...
    • Select an app you wish to uninstall.
    • Click the Uninstall button that appears.

    Make sure also that your device software drivers are updated.

    Post back with the result.

    In-game device disconnection sound

    I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better.

    1. What is the make and Model of your computer?

    2. Since when are you facing this issue?

    3. Did you try installing all the latest drivers from the computer manufacturer's website?

    I would like to inform you that this issue you are facing might be due to Sound settings on your computer. So I would suggest you to follow below steps to make changes in Sound Settings and check.

    • In search, type Sound and hit Enter.
    • From the bottom panel click on Sounds.
    • Under Program Events, look for Device Connect, Disconnect and Failed to Connect.
    • Choose one option at a time and from the sounds option choose none.
    Check if you still come across the sound.

    Computer wont stop making disconnecting sounds and crashing games

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
