Windows 10: Computer wont turn on after Windows Apirl 2019 update.

I have an Asus tower, 4 days ago Windows forced the infamous April update. After the computer turned of, it won't turn on. It's not that it's not booting, it literally won't turn on, the fan starts, something makes a buzz noise and it shuts off in reporting 3 second cycles. I paid $550 for this computer tower on cyber Monday in 2017, please help me save it.

Computer wont turn on

I installed a new PSU in my old computer Q6600 setup I had, turned it on it worked I was installing Windows 7, and I leave to go to class while it installs it self and when I get back I can just put in whatever I need to for information serial number etc. I come back and then computer is completely off, tried turning it on and it wont come on, led lights on the motherboard wont turn on etc. What could this be?? im guessing its the PSU, but it could be the motherboard right?

 

My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power
