    HELP!!! First there is no problem connecting to internet on any of the computers involved in this quesiton.After microsoft security intelligence update on Monday July 26, the two computers that connect to my computer, their connections keep dropping or timing out. I do not know for certain that this is the problem but thereafter is when the problems of staying connected occurred. My computer is the server/host for two softwares, QB and Timelot Power Net. My coworker is a 2nd user in QB and she can not stay connected to me. It keeps dropping. She may be in QB for 30 minutes or only 1 minute.

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

      computers dropping connection on network [​IMG]
    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

    I had already tried this and it did not work. I did find an updated driver for my adapter (Realtek) and so far no more problems. Thanks for the suggestion!
