Windows 10: Concerning preparing automatic repair

Hi,So I have a problem I was factory resetting my PC but I chose to keep all of my files so I did that and when I logged in it was kinda slow and it crashed i was not to concerned as it had just finished resetting so i for shut is down and i cant remember exactly but i think it didn't shut down cleanly and I accidently shut it down while it was reconstructing, so it went into a page where it said "preparing automatic repair" and it just never loaded i went into f12 options and troubleshoot everything it said nothing was wrong.PLEEEEEEEEEASE HEEEEEEEEEEELPI have a dell Inspiron 73-- 2n1 btw

Preparing Automatic Repair

My son's Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL has been stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for over a week now. I can't followed any steps listed for remedying it because the computer doesn't respond to any instructions, like holding F8 or even booting from a USB, at all. Has anyone ideas or it's time to discard this 5-year old laptop?

Hi,

To resolve your concern with continuously looping your system, we suggest that you follow the Startup Repair steps below:

• Turn off your computer.
• Turn on your computer. As soon as you see the Windows logo with the spinning dots, press and hold down the power button until your computer turns off. Do this process
  twice.
• Turn on your computer for the third time, and let it load.
• It should give you the message: Preparing Automatic Repair.
• On the next screen that would appear, click on Advanced Options.
• Select Troubleshoot.
• Go to Advanced Options.
• Click on Startup Repair.
• Wait for the repair to finish.
