Windows 10: Conexant SmartAudio HD - Cant launch audio wizard

So i recently updated my audio driver which is Conexant SmartAudio HD and there seems to be no problem at first. After updating i realized that my custom preference for the sounds has been reset and i have to do it again via the audio wizard panel as seen here https://imgur.com/a/gDSY8Un


But when i tried to open it, it didn't respond and nothing showed up. The original panel works just fine, but i cannot open the audio wizard panel which means my laptop's sound is low and weird. I've been having this problem for like a week and been looking for a fix and haven't found it yet.

My OS is Windows 10 Pro 1909 OSB 18363
My laptop is ASUS

Windows Update 1903 Conexant SmartAudio HD

I've just run the Windown 1903 update on my Lenovo PC and found that I have no sound. The installed softward is Conexant SmartAudio HD.

The sound icon bottom right shows "No Audio Output Device Installed"; the troubleshooter says it's unable to resolve the problem though it does offer Conexant Smart Audio HD is disabled" as an issue; and downloading the driver from Lenovo failed because
the installation wizard couldn't find the system.

Help please!

 

conexant smartaudio hd can i remove it permanently ?

Yeah so conexant smartaudio hd kinda messes up the sounds specially in games

the high definition audio device works way better for me

I just need a way to make windows 10 stop installing it and permanently remove the conexant smartaudio hd

Is there any fix for this ?

 

How do I keep windows from installing Conexant SmartAudio HD drivers?

The sound on my laptop works fine, the only problem is that I think Conexant SmartAudio HD audio driver is garbage and I can't get rid of it. I'd rather have windows high definition audio device, but no matter how many times I uninstall Conexant SmartAudio
HD and have it replaced with windows high definition audio device, Conexant drivers will either randomly install or they will be installed again after I turn on my computer next time. How do I get rid of Conexant SmartAudio HD for good?
