  1. Configuration of Windows 10 using AzureAD

I am using a Windows 10 machine of an organisation which, as second party, manages my machine through AzureAD using Intune. The second party has pushed a configuration policy to my machine as per which the login password has a minimum length requirementlet's say 12 chars. My device password was 10 chars long so when I logout and Login again I am prompted to change password to 12 Chars.

Now, a third party compliance testing tool, which is testing my device compliance as per CIS regulations tried to read MinimumPasswordLength Group Policy. This is when we realize that the password policy in Group Policy Editor and registry has not been updated after configuration through Intune. This is the case with multiple Group Policy settings. Since the third party verifies Group Policy through Secedit and through Registry the third party tool is practically not usable in this scenario.

If I am to develop the enhancement in the third party tool, from where should i verify Password Policies in win 10 machine after configuration through Intune??

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
