  1. Confused about signing in to Microsoft account

I think I might have inadvertently changed my MS account password. When I go to the site, I am only asked to enter my email address, and I am automatically logged in. I'm tempted to check "Change my password," though I'm not certain what my password is. Is there a way to have MS display my current password, so that I can verify that it is correct? The Microsoft Wallet shows an entry called "live.com" but I don't even know what that is or recognize the password listed there. It's not the password I've used for many years.

    :)

  3. sign into microsoft account glitch

    Hi Micheal,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    • Is this the only account on the computer?
    • Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

    • Click on search in taskbar and type account.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
    • Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
    • Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
