Windows 10: Confused about Updates

Hi, I've spent a few hours this morning trying to update Windows then furiously back-peddle after reading horror stories online - throw in a Repairing Disc Errors screen... you get the idea.

But I'm confused about what I should do now.

Under Windows Update I have:

1. Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004
   Pending download
2. Broadcom - Net - 7.77.119.0
   Pending download
3. 2020-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4560960)
   Pending download
4. 2020-01 Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4497165)
   Pending restart

Are any of these ok to download/install? Am I even able to cherrypick which ones to download and install?

I have used windows for 20 years but this is the first time I have had to exercise caution over which updates to install so a bit confused but I'd rather skip all of them as my PC currently seems to be working ok... Thanks!

Totally Confused with Email

Please reply with the below information to know more about the issue:

• Are you trying to create third user account in the mail app?
• Which email account have you configured with two accounts (live mail, outlook or Gmail etc)?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to follow below steps and check.

Step 1: I suggest you to install all the latest pending Windows updates as below and check if it helps.

• Go to “settings” and click on “update and security”.
• Under tab “Windows update”, click on the icon “check for updates”.
• Then once you find the pending updates install it and check.

Method 2: I suggest you to run the app troubleshooter from the below article and check if it helps.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
