Windows 10: confused about whats happening with Whatsapp on my pc

First whatsapp wont launch from PC .

Second I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling from MS store. Now its running but the app launch icon is pinned to taskbar. I cannot move it to desktop .

Whatsapp.exe cannot be found in the usual place under a sub folder of user\username\appdata\local etc etc. I think it might be inside Windows apps but I cant open to see whats inside (how to get access ?)

Why do I have 6 instances of whatsapp running under Processes in Task Manager ? Shouldn't there be only 1 ?

What should I do to fix this ? Uninstall then reinstall from Whatapp webpage instead of MS store. Does it make any difference?

• Have you tried running Windows Defender?
• Did you download any suspicious third-party app?
