Windows 10: Confused File Manager

Windows 10 - File ManagerSome year ago I unthinkingly created a sub-directory under Pictures called Videos. This was to distinguish videos I took on my camera from photos I created with it.The inevitable has finally happened and the sub-directory Pictures/Videos has been taken by FM to be the system folder Videos and given the attribute System Folder. On my D; drive, where I keep all my data, the folder Videos is in the path - ie D:\username\Videos, similar to D:\username\Documents etc, but has the attribute 'folder' and not 'system folder'.There is a lot of data in D:\username\Videos which I

what exactly did you do to it originally, tell me step by step and list the files you used (including links if possible) i will try to back track and recreate the error using VMware if i can (VMware a special tool i use for testing crap out *Smile )

 

There are no more files and ASUS Data Security Manager

I've been having the same issues trying to save files.

I followed all of the steps but ASUS Data Security Manager keeps reappearing. How do I really get it to delete? I've done the uninstall four times and it just pops back in the list.

 

File Explorer is confusing

Somewhat new to Windows, after having used a Mac for several years.

I find the layout in the File Explorer very confusing.

It shows Quick Access, I see two separate Desktop listings (contents not the same), OneDrive, This PC, Libraries, My User Name.

Why are there two Desktops? Is there a way to change the layout so it's not so confusing?
