    Confusing Error associated with DistributedCOM


    As of recently, I've noticed various warnings that keep coming up in Event Viewer from something called DistributedCOM.The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user DESKTOP-DBJ1JF7\Lucas SID S-1-5-21-2215934073-4057381009-4046675843-1001 from address LocalHost Using LRPC running in the application container Unavailable SID Unavailable.     If there is any issue with the WSearch service then you would see errors associated with DistributedCOM.

    DistributedCom 10016 permissions event error

    This is Dec 13 a.m. repeat series. The events from previous days in Dec. are now not listed in the Event viewer. This event is recorded at start up , repeats itself and then is not active for the rest of the day.
