Windows 10: Connect 3 displays, but one of them turns off.

Please help . I currently have a Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop. I bought a tv which connects to the laptop via VGA. Both screens work exactly as expected. So I bought another tv. This one connects via HDMI. The laptop has both VGA and HDMI ports. I disconnected the first tv and connected the second in the HDMI, and it worked. But when I try to connect both, one of the screens just turns off. No matter what I do, I can only have 2 displays at once. Hopefully this is enough info. I can provide more if needed, though. Can my laptop just not handle 3 displays? Is it because of the 2 different type

I suggest you to change the extended display to Duplicate display and check if it helps:

Steps:

• Connect your device.
• Right click on Desktop and select Display settings.
• Set the Customize your display to duplicate display.
• Check if it helps.

Triple display. How to quickly turn off two and leave primary active?

Hi all, so I've got three monitors and I'd like to be able to turn off/on two of them with some kind of script because I see no easy way within the display properties.

I see the following options:

Duplicate desktop on 1 and 3
Duplicate desktop on 2 and 3
Extend desktop to this display

My primary monitor is the one listed as #3 which is actually in the middle.
Any way to have something like "show only on 3" ?

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi,

I understand the above solution didnt work so as to next step in solving your issue I suggest you follow the below.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Device Manager

Step 2:

Under Device Manager expand Display Adapter

Step 3:

Right-click on Adapters listed one by one and select Properties

Step 4:

Select the Drivers tab

Step 5:

Click on Uninstall Device

Step 6:

Repeat step 3 to 5 for all listed adapters under Display Adapter

Step 7:

Restart PC and verify

Let me know the status after performing the above.
