    Connect an XP computer to our home network .

    I want to connect an XP computer to our home network. The other computers are Windows 10. They connect with each other although the printer on one of them which is "shared" cannot be connected to, although it can be seen/discovered. So two problems! Problems have developed recently probably due to updates or automatic changes of settings.

    :)

    Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

  3. Win 10 networking to an XP computer has changed

    I read your other post and it seems you're wanting us to enable SSP / NTLM on the XP machine. Is this what you were suggesting?
    1. Click Administrative Tools.
    2. Click Local Security Policy > Local Policies > Security Options > Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level.
    3. Click Send LM& NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.
    I'm not sure what SSP is? I saw references to SSO is that what you meant?
