Windows 10: Connect Android Phone with Windows 10 PC

Since about a week, I am trying to connect the Android Phone Version 14.0 with my Windows 10 PC. Simply said it does not work. I went through all the help available, followed the instructions sometimes pretty unclear, but no success. I am at the end of my "Latin", and do not know what else to do. To add, I tried to uninstall Phone Link with this command: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers Remove-AppxPackage in Powershell Admin. It would not do it at all.I also tried Feedback and ask for help, but everyone knows that this group is totally useless and will not do anythin

PC Windows 10 Bluetooth won't connect with Pixel 3XL phone

I have a Lenovo Yoga C930 PC (Win 10) that I cannot connect to my Pixel 3XL phone. I can get them to pair, but the PC bluetooth will only hold the connection for about 1 second, then says 'not connected'.

I have removed the PC from the phone's list of previously connected devices & then re-paired-numerous times. I have shut down & re-started both devices numerous times. None of these actions have worked. I am praying that one of you smart readers can help me solve this highly frustrating problem, pretty please?

BTW, I recently ran the upgrade on my phone from android 9 to 10. Could this be the problem? I see other changes on my phone that I think add steps & make it more cumbersome to use. Wish I could dump android 10 & go back to 9, but don't know how to do that either. If that is not the cause of this connection problem with the PC, I can live with it.

I would appreciate all advice. Please know that I am a 60-something year old- more knowledgeable than a basic user, but not super well versed in all of the software & hardware fixes that many of you know, so please write your suggestions/solutions accordingly. Many thanks in advance

 

Listen to Android phone's music from desktop headphone

How to listen to [Android phone's music] from [a headphone that is connected to a Windows 10 desktop] without internet connection?
I have an Android phone (Pixel 3a) with YouTube Music installed on it.

When I don't have internet connection, I want to be able to wear my headphone, which is connected to my desktop (Windows 10) and listen to both my desktop's audio (for example, game sound) and the music playing on my phone (for example, music that is available only on the phone's YouTube Music offline downloaded folder).

How can I achieve this?

Note:

• I searched on the internet and it seems like Windows 10 doesn't have bluetooth support by default that support audio streaming from phone to PC. People seems to be able to install a different bluetooth driver and get it to work, but I can't get it to work. (if you can get it to work please list the exact step)

Casting Android phone to Windows 10 PC using Connect App

Hi Roasted715Jr,

The problem could be with the app itself. Have you tried reinstalling the app on both devices? See if an update is available for both devices. Please note that the Connect app uses the Miracast standard. Also, make sure that you have the latest updates installed
on your Windows 10 PC.

Please make sure to follow these steps to be able to get your Android device display to show up onto the Windows 10 PC:

1. On the Android device, locate the Screen Mirroring icon and tap on it.
2. The interface will show a list of existing or available devices that content can be cast to. In that same interface, tap on the
   More Settings button.
3. Locate and tap the button located in the upper right and is represented by three dots.
   
4. Make sure that the Enable wireless display option is checked. This will instantly put the Android device into detection mode and allow other devices to find it.
5. On your Windows 10 PC, launch the Connect app.
6. With the Connect app running, the PC should now be detected by the Android device. Tap on the PC name on the Android device to cast display across the Windows 10 PC.
