    Hey,


    I have a bose soundlink connected to my household wifi network. I have recently bought a new hp pavilion with windows 10 installed.

    On any mobile or apple device when playing music you can hit the airplay button and select the bose speaker. Therefore anyone can play music through the wifi, easy!


    I've never had a laptop before, how can I play music from my laptop, through the wifi speaker?

    Under 'Bluetooth and device settings' my bose isn't shown. However, smart TVs are.

    no sound plays through internal speakers

    I cannot get any sound to play through the internal speakers of my laptop. It did play previously. The speaker in the task bar has a red and white x and the trouble shooter says no speakers headphones plugged in. When I pull up the info on sound it lists
    its location at HDMI port. Suggestions?

    Hi Sammy,

    A few possible reasons can cause WiFi connection issues. To help us identify the cause of this problem, we would like to know the following information:

    • Can you connect to the WiFi hotspot of your router? If yes, what is the status of the connection?
    • Does your laptop automatically connect to the WiFi? Do you need to type a password when connecting?
    • Can your laptop detect other WiFi hotspots around your location?

    In the meantime, let's run the Network troubleshooter while connected using WiFi. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems. To run it, follow the steps below:

    • Click Start.
    • In the search bar, type Network problems, and then select Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

    Thank you for the reply.

    I cannot see my home network for which i am having the problem to connect and run the troubleshooter. I am able to connect to my home network through LAN. My home network is not coming in the available WIFI connections. Kindly suggest.
