Windows 10: Connected to the Wlan but no Internet, does anyone have a solution?

You are my last hope. I tried to solve the problem for about 6 hours today, but without success.

My laptop is connected to the Wlan, but no Internet. The internet works on all devices except this Hp Pavillon laptop.

I have already restarted the modem, but it did not help.

Static Ip address also tried, but without success.

Network reset did not help either.

Driver is up to date. I uninstalled and installed the Wlan network adapter several times without success.

Two days ago I didn't have that problem, but now all of a sudden. Can someone please help me, I really don't know what to do

I would be so happy to get a helpful answer!!!

UNWANTED auto-connection to WLAN

Thank you for your suggestions, and apologies for my delay in replying. Poor health.

I have tried each of the suggested solutions, but still do not have the wanted result.

• WLAN connection deleted and reconfigured. While the WLAN was absent, the provider internet connection began self-connection just as the WLAN had done.
  • On reconfiguring the WLAN, both it and the provider internet connection began self-connecting.
• On re-setting the factory settings, as soon as boot completed, internet connection was requested. On dismissal of request, WLAN self-connected as before.

It would seem that something really wants to get out onto the web, or maybe the 'phone is just 'phoning home.

Please help.

 

My internet keeps dropping out!


I suggest you connect your laptop to the router with a ethernet cable. If the wired connection is stable you know that there is nothing wrong with the internet connection itself and with your LAN. Next step would be to go to the website of your laptop manufacturer and look for the latest WLAN drivers. Install them and test whether it improves the reliability of your WLAN connection. Then post back the results.

Try to perform the steps below:

• Go to Settings > Connectivitiy > Internet connection > set to WLAN first.
  
• Go to Settings > Connectivitiy > Packet data > When needed.

Enable those 2 and then retry and check if it will make any difference.
