Windows 10: Connected to USB tethering but connection is timed out in PC Games

I am using USB tethering on my phone and connected to the internet on my PC. The connection seems fine I can search up websites, but I cant connect to some PC games online they always state that the connection was timed out when getting in to the game.

Thanks for the reply. Question, since I'm not using wifi and I AM usb tethering andriod device to get connection should I change the name of that connection and follow steps you listed above the same way?

• When did the issue occur?
• Did you try another device to connect to your computer using USB tethering?
• Are you able to view that your phone is connected on the Windows Explorer?

USB TETHERING TROUBLESHOOT TO CONNECT MY ANDROID TO PC WITH USB CABLE

you have to explain better what you intend to do.

You can enable USB tethering on your Android device and then connect it via USB cable to your PC and then try to access the internet.
The PC must not be connected to any router.
