Windows 10: Connecting a projector to Windows 10

Hi, I'm trying to connect a projector, the Ragu Z400 Mini Projector, to my Windows 10 computer. Currently, I have 2 monitors; one is plugged into the displayport on my graphics card 1060 ti while the other is plugged into HDMI on the same graphics card. My projector can be plugged in via VGA, HDMI, or USB. For this particular isssue I am trying to connect the VGA input on the projector to the graphics card's DVI-D input using an adapter. The onboard graphics connect via VGA. I can confirm that the adapter is working as I've used it before in this same instance a year back.


THE PROBLEM NOW: After the DVI to VGA adapter is connected to both the PC and projector, Windows 10 fails to recognize the projector. I've checked the display settings, device settings, and the device manager. I've also ensured my drivers are fully up to date. Please help me to find out why this isn't working and what can be done to fix this. I've also tried plugging the display VGA to VGA projector to onboard graphics but this failed too BIOS settings are set to allow this.

I have trying to connect my projector to a new Windows 10 laptop but cannot get a signal I have tried F8 without success, any suggestions?

For the meantime, we suggest you to update your drivers for your projector. You can get the drivers through
Windows Update or through the manufacturer's website.
