    connecting bluetooth devices with Surface Pro


    I have a Surface Pro 4 (I think that's the number). I also have a Designer Mouse and Designer Keyboard. They have been working fine for a couple years, but since I installed the last major Windows Update a couple weeks ago, I can't get them to connect. They show up as paired, but not connected. I removed the devices and try to pair them again. The computer finds the device, but when I tap on it to connect, it tries, but then says, "Try to connect later."


    I have this same mouse and keyboard at work where I have an HP laptop. I haven't had this issue after installing the Windows Update on my work computer; just at home with my Surface Pro.


    Is there some recent issue with Surface Pros and Bluetooth connectivity?

    Arc Bluetooth mouse not working properly with Surface 3

    Experienced same issue, disconnecting Arc Mouse then reconnect worked fine, but not mouse interaction.

    Below steps worked for me:

    • Remove all Bluetooth connected devices, including Surface Type Cover and Surface Pen.
    • Disconnected the Surface Type Cover then reconnect. It will reinstall tand connect the device.
    • Then Add Bluetooth devices including Surface Pen and last but not least Arc Bluetooth Mouse.

    Everything works fine again.
