Windows 10: Connecting one PC to internet causes all internet to degrade

My PC has always been connected to the modem via an ethernet cable. Recently I've been having internet trouble, the connection degrades to the point I can't connect to anything. I've had the I ISP out to upgrade and change it equipment to no avail. Through much trial and error I discovered that simply connecting THIS PC to the internet directly by ethernet cable or even by wifi causes the entire network to fail. Diagnostics don't return any issues with network.I haven't a clue what could be causing this. If it's windows, some app I can't identify interfering with network adapter, or my mothe

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

Since you are still experiening internet connection issue, what we can suggest is for you to try and have the Internet Connections troubleshooter. Kindly try the steps below:

  Right click the
  Start
  menu and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change the
  View by: Categoryinto
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Select and click
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click
  Network and Internet.
  
• 
  Click
  Internet Connections.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooting to complete.
  
• 
  After troubleshooting is completed, check the status of the troubleshooter shown on the window.
