Connecting to a Device After Forgetting

Hello! I am on windows 10 with my HP laptop and was trying to connect my Bluetooth speaker which I had done before to my laptop but it was not connecting. I had assumed that if I were to forget the device on my laptop, I could simply pair it again and my speaker would connect, considering that is how it works with my phone. Now that my laptop forgot the device, it does not show up when I try to pair or add a new device. I searched how to fix it, and I ended up restarting my Bluetooth support service and then switched Properties to Automatic, but my bluetooth device still did not show up when trying to repair it to my laptop. Is there any way I can reconnect my Bluetooth device to my laptop?

    :)

  2. WiFi connection

    Hello Santhosh,

A quick question before we proceed:

Are you experiencing the same issue with other devices too?

If you are able to connect to other device, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

      • Toggle Wi-Fi

      • Forget/reconnect to Wi-Fi access point

      • tested multiple access points and different locations

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

  3. i accidentally clicked on "forget this connection". How to recover it on windows 10

    Hi Liau,

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with
recovering to wireless network on Windows 10.

This issue might occur if saved wireless network is removed the network list.

To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

    • When you say that "forget this connection", are you referring that you have clicked on forget this connection option for the save wireless network? Have you tried to save the network again?

If you are trying to automatically connect to wireless network connection or save a network, then I suggest you to refer to the steps below and check if it helps.

    1. Click on network icon in the Taskbar.

    2. Then click on the wireless network which you want to connect.

    3. Check mark on Connect automatically and then click on
    Connect
    button.

Please get back to us with an update on recovering network
issue, we will be happy to help.

    Thank you.

i accidentally clicked on "forget this connection". How to recover it on windows 10

Hello and Thanks for the kind attention on this

    I had meant that:

I had erased a previous connection by clicking on "Forget This Connection" and now wishes to recover it.

Is there anyway I can recover it because I had previously set it on "sharing" and deleted without having to close the Sharing.

    Please help

    With Thanks
