Windows 10: Connecting to Hotspot with win11 breaks internet for all

Hi,I have the following problem:We are on our holiday trip, and we need to use the internet about a mobile hotspot. Every device, doesn't matter if Android, Linux or Apple is able to connect to the hotspot.But, if my wife tries to connect to the hotspot with her Windows 11 notebook. No-one has Internet. The Win11 device shows connected and internet state, but their is no internet connection. At the same moment, all other devices, connected to the hotspot, can't access the internet, too. If i disconnect the Win11 device from the hotspot. Everyone has working Internet again. If i connect the Win

Got it.

This usually happen if Internet Connection Sharing was not enabled. To do this, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + X and select Network Connections.
• Please note that at this point, your hotspot connection should be showing here
• Right-click your internet source, which should be Ethernet.
• Select Properties.
  
• Click Sharing.
• Check the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection option.
• Under Home networking connection drop-down menu select your
  hotspot connection name.
• Click OK.

Win11 Hotspot not continuously working

Hi, I have Win 11 on my laptop. I enabled Hotspot, and disabled Hotspot's power saving mode. My phone and my phone only connected to the hotspot, and can browse internet. However, after my phone was idle for 4 hours, my phone says my hotspot is "Connected, no internet".

My laptop keeps having internet access ALL THE TIME, hotspot enabled ALL THE TIME, my phone stayed connected to the hotspot ALL THE TIME. The problem is, only my phone lost internet via hotspot whenever my phone was left not used for some hours (e.g. 4 hours).

My phone won't lose internet after idle for 4 hours if it is connected to a router.

Currently, I have to disable and re-enable hotspot to let my phone browse internet via hotspot again.

How can I keep my Win11 hotspot stay providing internet access to my phone?

 

Mobile Hotspot - No Internet Connection

I tried the first two methods the link recommended.

In the case of the first method, I couldn't get past step 1.8 (Selecting 802.11 or whatever) as there wasn't any item on the list that had anything near that name.

The second way didn't work either. I followed all the given steps up until step 2.8, at which point the drop down menu I had had no "WLAN" option. The "Wifi" option resulted in the issue not being corrected at all (my phone still says there's no internet
connection) and selecting "Ethernet" resulted in the computer telling me there was no way to set up a mobile hotspot at all as I wasn't connected to Wifi or Ethernet.
