Windows 10: Connecting TV to desktop PC , no signal

Hello, I hope you can help! I have a Dell Inspiron 3847 desktop PC. I ran an HDMI cable from the single HDMI port on the back panel of my PC to the HDMI-2 port on the TV, I have set the PC display settings to duplicate the screens and all was working fine, I switch to input 2 on the TV, change the audio output on PC to TV and im using my TV as a 2nd monitor. Until now... Now I get a no signal message on the TV when I switch inputs, I have not made any changes to PC or installed/deleted anything. I have swapped out the 1 + 2 hdmi ports on the tv and both are operational. I have purchased a ne

Connect a desktop pc to a Samsung smart tv

I'm trying to connect a older Desktop pc with Window 10 to my Samsung f8000 smart tv via wifi or LAN. My desktop pc is ethernet cabled to the Sky home hub and the smart tv ethernet cabled to the hub as well. My smart tv appears in the connected devices
list but it doesn't seem to connecting, is it because I need a wireless dongle??

Connect Samsung Smart TV to Computer

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Connect your PC and TV in same network.
• Got to Start and click on Settings.
• Open Devices and chose Connected devices from the menu on the left.
• Click on Add a device.
• After the wizard finished, just click on your TV and follow the instructions.
