I'm trying to migrate my system to a faster, M.2-based SSD. Here are the steps I took:- Created a bootable install USB media- Disconnected the existing SSD with Windows, since apparently the Windows installer refuses to create a new install unless there is only one hard drive connected- Installed Windows on the new SSD, installed all updates, etc. etc.- Reconnected the old SSD so I could copy some data over- Disconnected the old SSD- Now the new SSD won't boot anymore: "No operating system found"It appears that Windows was angry that there were two bootable Windows drives connected and decided

    Hard drive no longer bootable

So i have 2 hard drives and they were both bootable. The computer stopped booting from the primary drive that i normally boot from (the 2TB) and instead started booting from the 500gb drive again. I looked in the bios the 2TB drive is no longer even an option to boot from. What the heck happened?

-Both drives appear in the bios
-Only the 500gb drive appears to be bootable
-The 2TB HD was booting just fine until i came to visit my parents and found it was booting off the 500gb (everything was old and not updated)
-The 2TB drive can be seen from the windows of the 500gb drive.

I don't suppose there would be a quick fix for this? I'm having trouble finding information on google because it's mostly just entry after entry of drives not being visible in windows.

    Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

    1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
    2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
    3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!
